Access Audits

An access audit checks how accessible and easy a workplace is to use for everyone.
It looks at buildings, information, technology and everyday practices and compares them with laws and accessibility standards.

An access audit helps identify:

  • physical access barriers
  • practical issues that affect how people use a space
  • clear actions to improve access for all

Accessibility is more than ramps and toilets. It also includes clear information, vision and hearing support, safe movement, cultural awareness and mobility needs.

By completing an access audit, organisations can create safer, more welcoming spaces and make smart, long-term improvements that benefit everyone.
